Villages and towns
The most interesting villages nearby are Nérac, Lavardac and Vianne. They are all three on the river Baïse. Vianne is one of the best preserved bastides, during the months of June, July and August is always a lively night market held here on Friday. There you can taste the local food and drink to their heart's content. On the square in Lavardac can give you a game of jeu de boulles music or on the Baïse canoe trips. Wednesday morning is the traditional market.
Nérac ' capitale de bien vivre ', is a pleasant village to stroll, boat trips on the Baïse or to a visit to le Chateaux de Henri IV.

Agen is the capital of Lot-et-Garonne, visit the Musée des Beaux-Arts or le Pont-Canal, more info can be found on www.ot-agen.org Bordeaux and Toulouse are also worth a day trip.
